Responsibilities will include performing and reviewing technical work, mentoring and staff development, business development, and project management including writing proposals for state DOTs, city and county government, and private development projects throughout the southeast Service offerings will include storm water drainage system design, storm water handling facility design, erosion and sedimentation control designs, storm water permitting and compliance, and environmental permitting and compliance. Experience in Microstation/Geopak and/or Autocad/Civil 3D a plus.
The successful candidate will have a BS in civil engineering, registered as a professional engineer (PE) in NC, and a minimum of 10 years of drainage/storm water experience on roadway projects and knowledge of all current drainage design and modeling software.
Ideal candidate will have experience managing and marketing hydraulic and storm water projects with NCDOT and other state DOTs, and the private development community. Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
