    Job Description
    Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position open for a civil engineer in our transportation department. Responsibilities include developing transportation roadway plans using Microstation/Geopak; determining appropriate lines and grades, cross sections and all applicable design standards in preparation of roadway; serving as the project manager as necessary. Occasional travel will be required.
     
    The successful candidate will have all of the following a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil engineering AND at least four years of relevant work experience.
     
    The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: Microstation/Geopak software; SCDOT/NCDOT roadway design projects; AutoCAD Civil 3D software; project management. A PE license in any state (preferably South Carolina or North Carolina), or the ability to obtain within six months of hire is also preferred.
