  • Lt. Jason Redman

LT Jason Redman spent over 20 years in the SEAL Teams. He spent 11 years as an enlisted Navy SEAL and almost 10 years as a SEAL Officer. In September 2007, he was severely wounded in Iraq just two weeks before he was due to return home.  He endured 37 surgeries and years of rehabilitation. While recovering at Bethesda Naval Medical Center, LT Redman hung a bright orange sign on his hospital door that advised visitors that he would not stand for pity. The sign became a statement for wounded warriors everywhere and gained national recognition. LT Redman’s awards include the Bronze Star Medal with Valor, the Purple Heart and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal. He is the author of The Trident: The Forging and Reforging of a Navy SEAL Leader which provides powerful insight into the strength, determination, perseverance and faith of being a Navy SEAL and wounded warrior. His book reflects on the lessons he learned about leadership, overcoming adversity and receiving a second chance in life.” Redman retired from the Navy in 2013 and founded Wounded Wear, a Non-Profit organization which supports wounded warriors and families of the fallen.
