Environment and Energy Committee Meeting - June

This will be our first official committee meeting since the relaunch of the committee, and we’re looking forward to strong participation as we kick things off with renewed energy and purpose.

In addition to this robust agenda, we’ll also begin preparing for a unique opportunity to engage with the NC Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ). Secretary Reid Wilson of NCDEQ, along with other NCDEQ leadership, will be a featured speaker at the 2025 ACEC/NC Summer Conference taking place in July, and we have the chance to submit questions in advance for consideration during Secretary Wilson’s moderated session. During our June 27 meeting, we’ll draft these questions based on insights from the survey.
