In my current role as the deputy project manager for Dewberry’s North Carolina Stormwater group, I serve as a subject matter expert in NCDOT roadway drainage design. My responsibilities include mentoring a group of engineers on a daily basis and communicating with clients, setting design schedules, collaborating with other disciplines, and managing a variety of projects. My portfolio includes an extensive range of projects involving hydraulic modeling in HECRAS and SRH2D and roadway drainage in Geopak Drainage and OpenRoads Designer in states all throughout the southeast. I serve as the lead hydraulic engineer on several transportation contracts, including work for NCDOT. Tasks associated with these contracts include culvert and bridge design, sediment and erosion control plans, culvert construction sequencing, and roadway drainage.
