Professional Bio
Emily Baker is a PR/Communications Specialist for Freese and Nichols, a privately owned engineering, planning and consulting firm serving clients across the United States. She manages Freese and Nichols' project awards program and writes internal and external content about the firm's projects, people and services.
Emily is an active member of the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) in the North Texas chapter and currently serves on the board of directors as Director of Communications. She has worked in the A/E/C industry since 2018, previously for a commercial construction trade association before coming to Freese and Nichols. She has a passion for celebrating, supporting and communicating the stories of those who design and construct our built environment.
Emily graduated summa cum laude from Baylor University with a B.B.A. in Marketing and enjoys being "chronically busy" in Fort Worth, Texas, with her contractor husband, two sons, extended family and book club.
