Professional Bio
Jeremy is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer and Authorized Project Reviewer in Terracon’s Asheville, North Carolina office. He has 22 years of diverse geotechnical engineering experience performing field investigations, laboratory testing, and geotechnical analysis and design for public and private projects across the US and internationally. His experience includes operations management, project management, senior technical oversight and consulting, business development, strategic planning, staff mentoring, and recruiting.
His current duties include geotechnical consulting, project management, proposal preparation, and geotechnical investigations. He performs geotechnical analysis and prepares reports, professionally interacts with clients and contractors, and strictly adheres to and promotes health and safety standards and expectations. Project experience providing geotechnical engineering for bridges, buildings, retaining walls, cut slopes, embankments, pavement sections, subgrade improvements, settlement estimates, deep foundation analysis, oil and gas developments, renewable energy developments, and engineering plans and specifications packages. Extensive experience in slope stability analyses and design for roadway slopes, landslides, landfills, and developing and implementing geologic hazard programs. Additional hands-on experience with geotechnical and construction materials testing and inspection services.
