Professional Bio

Kristina is focused on project development, environmental reviews/analyses, agency coordination, public outreach, and compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) in addition to compliance with other applicable laws, regulations, policies, and requirements. She brings decades of experience analyzing and developing transportation projects. Kristina has conducted successful NEPA-compliance studies through effective interagency coordination and public involvement programs, detailed research, context-sensitive solutions, comprehensive impact analyses, and full-disclosure documentation. She has managed and written numerous environmental impact statements, environmental assessments, categorical exclusions, and construction consultations; provided Section 6(f) Land and Water Conservation Fund Act conversion coordination; completed Section 4(f) DOT Act evaluations; supported efforts for the Section 106 National Historic Preservation Act consultation process; provided environmental justice evaluations; authored community impact assessments; and evaluated indirect and cumulative impacts. In addition, she has created and facilitated comprehensive public involvement programs for projects with high levels of public controversy and a wide range of critical issues, involving historic resources, environmental justice, relocations, public parks, and sensitive natural resources.
