Professional Bio
Graduated from NCSU in 1986 with a BS in Civil Engineering. Began career with NCDOT in May of 1986 serving as Assistant District Engineer in Graham. Also served as District Engineer in Reidsville and Division Operations Engineer in Greensboro. Became the Division 9 Engineer in Winston-Salem in May of 2000 where he is responsible for the administration of all project development, maintenance and construction programs in Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Rowan and Stokes Counties. Involved with the planning, design and administration of several high-profile projects in Division 9 such as the widening of I-85 in Davidson and Rowan Counties, the Business 40 Improvement project (Salem Parkway) and the Winston-Salem Northern Beltway (future I-74. Joined LJB Engineering in January 2025 as the Business Development Executive with responsibilities focused on the Triad region of the state.
