(space is very limited, please register early!)
As environmental consultants and engineers in North Carolina, there is a good chance that you’ve heard of the Southern Environmental Law Center. SELC has a team of more than 80 attorneys that are passionate about protecting the environment. As a key stakeholder in our region, SELC is focused on strengthening laws, pressuring governmental agencies, and stopping environmental abuses.
Part of our role as consultants and engineers is to understand the various stakeholder perspectives and work toward solutions that balance the needs of everyone involved in the project. You have the unique opportunity to hear from Ms. Brooks Rainey Pearson to learn more about SELC and some of their major priorities. Ms. Pearson is a staff attorney at SELC who spends a lot of time at the legislature helping educate lawmakers on environmental issues in North Carolina.
Please join us on October 18th to learn more about the SELC and how we can continue to protect the environment while building North Carolina’s infrastructure.
Also, please be sure to thank Wood for sponsoring and hosting this meeting. Wood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets. Wood operates in more than 60 countries, employing around 60,000 people, with revenues of over $10 billion.
If you can’t join us in person, please call in.
